I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at Indiana University Northwest. My research focuses on two areas: the economics of intellectual property theft and heuristic portfolio construction. These areas share a common reliance on heavy-tailed and nonstationary variables, so I am also interested in methodological approaches for developing and integrating such inputs into broader models.
